Paintless Dent Repair - PDR002
Intermediate Level
Our PDR002 16-hour intermediate class is the follow-up class to PDR001 in our
Paintless Dent Repair training program. It is designed to reinforce and expand upon the basic
skills learned in the beginning class.
Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is used by technicians and auto plant "dingmen" to
remove small dents from painted steel and aluminum body panels. This remarkable
process removes the dent without harming the paint. When done correctly, the
repair is completely invisible. Because there is no repainting, you save a lot of time and
money.
In the PDR002 class, the instructors evaluate your level of expertise and provide
additional training as required in the most important skills. We then add more challenging
tasks like working larger dents, dents on vertical body panels, and those on body
feature lines. We utilize the same staff of highly-skilled and experienced
instructors with years of experience in teaching workers in the production
plant environment.
Our Unique Program Curriculum Includes:
þ Review/Evaluation - Determining your current skill level.
þ Working Larger Dents - Techniques for working larger and "locked-in" dents.
þ Vertical Panel Dents - Working dents on fenders & doors.
þ Non-Circular Dents - Working elongated dents and creases.
þ Body Feature Line Dents - Restoring feature lines in dented panels.
þ Tool Selection - Choosing the appropriate specialty tool for the dent.
þ Access Points - Determining the most effective access points.
