Other pool cover tools are made of thick-wall, inexpensive mild steel and have a 1" diameter. As soon as the spring loops stretch (they always do) the tool no longer fits. Our tool has an outside diameter of 7/8" and is made of super-tough and durable chrome moly steel. This allows for a thinner wall thickness and the chrome moly shaft resists corrosion better. The extra-long 36" length is a real back saver too! |
